Satan’s Plan

Some time ago, Satan called a worldwide convention of his servants. In his opening address to his evil angels and Earthly minions, he said, "We can't keep all Catholics from going to church and listening to the Word and to the homilies and prayers. We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the Truth.  At times, we can't even keep them from embracing conservative values.  But we can do something very important. We can keep them from forming a prayerful intimacy with Christ, His Mother, and with His Angels and Saints.  If they are able to attain and retain that prayerful connection with the Good Lord, our power over them is broken.  So let them go to church.  Let them have their conservative beliefs.  But occupy and steal their time so they are of the world and can't have a real union with the Holy Trinity."

"But how shall we accomplish this?" shouted one of his angels.

Satan responded, "Keep them busy in the nonessentials of life and invent numerous schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.  “Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, money they don’t have and to then borrow, borrow, borrow money they can’t repay.  Convince the wives to go to work and the husbands to work more hours each day and week in an attempt to pay for the lifestyles they believe they’ve chosen and is of their own making.  Most importantly, keep them from spending time with their children.  In fact, make them believe children are a burden to be avoided.  As their families are fragmented, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work, or from the outside world."

Satan went on: “Over-stimulate their minds so they cannot hear and respond to God’s Grace.  Entice them to constantly surround themselves whether at home, at work or in their automobiles, with electronic gadgets; cell phones, iPhones, desktops, laptops, televisions, radios, etc.  Ensure that all restaurants and stores have music playing and televisions constantly bombarding them with noise.  Fill their homes with magazines and newspapers. Pound their minds with a 24-hour “news cycle.”  Invade their driving time with billboards and neon signs.  Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, sweepstakes, catalogs, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.  Even in their recreation, let them be excessive.  Have them return from it exhausted, disquieted and unprepared for the daily trials and sacrifices they will encounter.  All this will serve to jam their minds and fill them so full with trivia that they will be unable to think clearly.  Once they are unable to think clearly they will lose their ability to reason, and without right reason humans will lose their ability to discern right from wrong and good from evil.  They will no longer be able to respond to God’s Graces.  Union with Christ will become nearly impossible.” 

"Don't let them go out in nature. Charm and attract them toward the sins of city living, and to amusement parks, sporting events, concerts and movies instead.  And if they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences and unsettled emotions.  Let them try to be involved in good works, but crowd their lives with so many supposedly good causes they have no time to seek the peace of Christ. Rather, let them think they are using their own strength and intelligence to do good works which will sacrifice their health and the unity of their family for the preceived good of whatever “cause” they embark upon."

This turned out to be a very memorable convention.  Satan’s angels and Earthly servants went eagerly to their assignments, causing Catholics everywhere to get busy, busy, busy and rush here, there and everywhere.

Has satan and his devils been successful in this scheme?  Who is our master? What is our guide? To what do we bend our knee?  Is it an Earthly voice or a Heavenly voice?  God is not noisy.  God is not boisterous.  He speaks to us in whispers.  Have Catholics forgotten they are to be the sons and daughters of the Holy Trinity?  Have Catholics forgotten how to be silent, how to pray in silence? You be the judge.

Like St. Francis before the Crucifix, may we also say: Most High, glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my heart and give me true faith, certain hope and perfect charity, sense and knowledge, Lord, that I may carry out Your holy and true command.. Amen (cf. Prayer before the Crucifix: FF [276]).

Якось одного разу Сатана скликав світове зібрання своїх слуг. В своєму зверненні до злих ангелів та земних слуг, він сказав, "Ми не можемо стримати католиків відвідувати церкву та слухати Слово Боже, проповіді та молитву. Ми не можемо заборонити їм читання Біблії та знання Правди. Інколи, ми, навіть, не можемо заборонити їм визнавати консервативні вартості. Проте, ми можемо зробити щось дуже важливе. Ми можемо не дозволити їм  творити молитовний зв’язок з Христом, Його Матір’ю, з Ангелами і святими. Якщо вони зможуть  осягнути та зберегти цей молитовний зв’язок з Добрим Господом, ми станемо безсилими перед ними. Тому, нехай вони ідуть до церкви, нехай дотримуються своїх консервативних вірувань. Проте, займімо та вкрадімо їхній час, щоб вони належали до світу та не могли б по-справжньому бути в єдності з Пресвятою Трійцею."

"Але як ми можемо це здійснити?" вигукнув один із ангелів.

Сатана відповів, "Тримай їх у постійній зайнятості несуттєвими речами цього життя та винайди багато схем, щоб заполонити їхній розум,". “Спокушуй їх витрачати все більше і більше грошей, яких вони не мають та брати щораз більше в позику грошей, яких вони не зможуть віддати. Переконай жінок в необхідності іти до праці кожного дня більше годин, щоб оплатити витрати на проживання, яке вони обрали і яке собі самі творять. Найважливіше, утримуй їх від проведення часу з своїми дітьми. Фактично, запевняй їх  у тому, що діти – це тягар, якого слід уникати. Так як їхні родини -  розбиті, їхні доми перестануть бути затишком від напруги в праці чи зовнішнього світу."

Сатана продовжував: “Надмірно втручайся в їхні уми, щоб вони не чули, а ні не відповідали Благодаті Божій.  Притягай їх до постійного вживання електроніки вдома, праці, в авті: мобільні телефони, айфони, десктопи, ноутбуки, телебачення, радіо тощо. Будь певний, що у всіх ресторанах та крамницях музика та телебачення створюють постійний шум та гамір. Наповни їх доми журналами та газетами. Вбивай у їхні голови 24-годинний цикл новин. Атакуй їх у дорозі під час водіння авта білбордами та неоновими знаками. Заповнюй їхні поштові скриньки непотрібною поштою, каталогами,  рекламами безкоштовних продуктів, послуг та фальшивими надіями. Навіть під час їхнього вільного часу та відпочинку, нехай вони будуть надмірними. Нехай вони повернуться з нього вичерпані, стурбовані і не готові до щоденних випробувань та жертви з якими їм доведеться зіткнутися. Все це послужить засміченню їхніх умів і наповнить їх дрібницями, що вони будуть не в змозі ясно мислити. Оскільки, вони будуть не в змозі ясно думати, то вони втратять свою здатність до розуму, і не маючи розуму, люди втрачають здатність відрізняти правильне від помилкового а добра від зла. Вони більше не будуть  в змозі відповідати не Божу Благодать. Єдність з Христом стане практично неможливою. "Не дозволяйте їм виходити на природу. Притягайте та зваблюйте їх до міського життя, до розваг, спортивних заходів, концертів та кіно. А якщо вони зустрінуться для духовного спілкування, заангажуйте їх до пліток і балачок так що вони вийдуть із неспокійною совістю та розбурханими емоціями. Нехай спробують взяти участь у творенні добрих справ, але наповни їхнє життя багатьма добрими справами, щоб вони немали часу шукати Христовий мир. Швидше за все, хай вони думають, що вони використовують свої сили й інтелект, щоб робити добрі справи, жертвуючи своїм здоров'ям і єдністю для добра будь-якою ціною."

Це було дуже пам'ятне зібрання. Слуги сатани і та його земні службовці приступили до виконання своїх завдань, змушуючи католиків в усьому світі ставати щораз більше зайнятими та всюди і скрізь поспішати.

Чи Сатана і його дияволи успішно діють згідно цієї схеми? Хто наш господар? Хто - наше керівник? Для чого ми схиляємо коліна? Чи це - земний голос чи голос Небесний? Бог не шумить. Бог не галасує. Він говорить з нами пошепки. Чи католики забули, що вони повинні бути синами і дочками Святої Трійці? Чи католики розівчилися мовчати та молитися в тиші? Вам судити.
